Content Week 39/23

#arsboni is back from summer break, I am in Brussels

Content Week 39/23

Dear readers, colleagues, friends,

What is this now?

Some of you were so kind to give me positive feedback on my travel diary and said that they wanted to receive further content. I am rather sure that they meant more travel-related stories (me jumping from a plane with or without parachute or learning golf or that sort of stuff), but I will take the risk of a creative misunderstanding.

For the following reason: Ich have been trying to connect with the audiance of one of my more important work-related side gigs - #arsboni - via different channels for quite some time now.

Every week I post on #Facebook, #Twitter, #Mastodon, #Linkedin the programme of nex week, so what I am going to stream then.

There are several problems coming with this:

  1. It’s time consuming (for me)
  2. It’s redundant (for you) and
  3. Most importantly, I have absolutely no control who is seeing these posts and why and when. The impression rates differ every week and I have no clue why - despite of trying to monitor this for years now (although I must admit that I have neither the time nor the willingness to really try to understand what’s going on and to optimize my content accordingly. I want to write and stream for you and me and not an algorithm).

So, what I am going to do now is that I am going to post (at least) the programme and some additional information on #arsboni in this substack here.

#arsboni?

#arsboni, for the few who don’t know it, is - well, what exactly is it? - a series of conversations I have the privilege to have with experts on topics related to #law, #digitalisation, #media and #Covid. Most of them are live streams, some of them are prerecorded from my (former) laundry.

You can watch the streams and videos live (or later) on Youtube or listen to them as podcasts via, for example, Spotify and Apple.

Content week 38/2023

I will be in Brussels for ERC-related work next week. This is the reason why there will be only one #arsboni edition on Friday.

Friday, September 29, 2023, 13.30 CEST

#arsboni 441(German)

We talk to Michael Friedmann. He is a lawyer and founder of QNC Gmbh, a company that offers (for more than 20 years) services like https://www.frag-einen-anwalt.de, https://www.123recht.de/ and https://primelegal.de/. Michael is a pioneer in legal information and has also been teaching on AI in law at the Universities of Vienna and Hannover for more than 5 years (in Vienna together with me).

We talk about how AI is changing (and has changed) legal advice and for whom opportunities arise out of these changes.

Kindly let me know what you think about (my) #substack, #arsboni, my #laundry, whatever.

I wish you a wonderful week!

Kind regards
